At Sage Catering, we take pride in sourcing fresh, delicious, nutritious, and sustainable ingredients. Supporting local economies, we prioritize seasonal foods from nearby producers while celebrating the diversity of what’s grown in the Pacific Northwest.

We prepare menu items in-house with fresh, nutritious ingredients, ensure transparency with detailed nutrition information, ingredients, and allergen labels, and collaborate closely with our registered dietitians.
Sustainable
We compost all food scraps, limit single-use items, offer climate-friendly menu options, and partner with Ocean Wise™ to ensure we only purchase sustainable seafood.
Local
We prioritize small scale, BC-owned food businesses as close to UBC as possible. Whenever possible, we use local food that is grown, raised, caught, or processed within BC, including right here from UBC Farm.
Diverse
Our globally-inspired menus strive to reflect the diversity of the UBC community. They feature halal-certified meats, a variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes and Fair Trade coffee and tea.
