Enjoy a modern dining experience coupled with breathtaking views of the Georgia Strait. From weddings and other ceremonies to private functions and weekday lunch service, we provide an elegant and charming experience. What makes us so special is our combination of warm and attentive service, delicious menu items, and newly renovated facilities designed by architecture legend Arthur Erickson. Stunning views and landscaping, featuring a reflective pool, perfect the experience.
Sage is located in the Leon and Thea Koerner University Centre at the University of British Columbia – a facility with a long and distinguished history as The Faculty Club. The Faculty Club dates back to 1946, but was relocated to The University Centre in 1957, thanks to funds contributed by the University of British Columbia’s Capital Gifts fundraising campaign. It was a favourite spot on campus for faculty and distinguished guests to gather and dine until its closure in 1994.
In 1999, the facility reopened as the Leon and Thea Koerner University Centre. It became home to Sage Restaurant and the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies. Sage expanded beyond serving faculty exclusively, and became a well-loved destination for catered events and lunchtime dining.
